Anyone Know of Any Landcruisers For Sale?

Having just spent two days cleaning, polishing, sealing and generally pampering my Landcruiser I'd have to say that I'm biased. I think Landcruisers are great. Fabulous choice.

....obviously I'd rather be driving the Supra but you can get rather more stuff in a Landcruiser.

Wow...wish i could afford the one you have, the D4D is an excellent block but my budget will only extend to the older models..and so I want it to be a rapid mover the old Diesel is not a patch on the D4D..so Im going for a petrol but its so hard to get an import in petrol, plenty of the diesels around but no petrols!

What sort of performance do you get out of the D4D I know they are a huge improvement over the older models?

Ray...yep I am as Carlos as a Spanish waiter right now!

ToyotaSupraUK...I cany afford Amazon money..and its way too huge for me lol..but may consider one if its in good nick and good price!:eyebrows:

I would never pretend that the D4D is fast but if you floor it it'll pull pretty well. But it's definitely not a performance vehicle. 0-60 is not exactly sparkling. To be honest though you get used to the fact that it's not a fast vehicle and make allowances.

The reason we never went for the 4 litre petrol was it's thirst. Performance was better and the engine is a little smoother but the diesel won the day.

If you want resale value on a Landcruiser you have to get the diesel. Petrol versions are hard to sell, hence you wont find that many around.

Getting a new Landcruiser was a huge decision for myself and the wife. We got a great deal on it but it's still the most expensive car we've ever bought by some considerable margin. We love the thing though. It has great road presence and you feel pretty much invicible in one. (Be nice to eventually pay off the loan as well... :) )

Cool...sounds ideal..but yes what a huge amount of money...I have fallen in Love with them, I want to use it as a work vehicle to carry gear!

I'll report back he he its a 2000 model year but 3.4...petrol thirsty but as i found out slighty more economical than either Supra I have owned!
