But whats the best choice for big power supes, ie 500+ rwhp I know goodyear's are the number 1 choice..But Dunlop have produced a road legal track day tyre called the D02 Direzza. super sticky compound. will only last about 4-5K but i inly do that milage a year anyway.Anybody else tried these tyres Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Alex Posted January 30, 2006 Share Posted January 30, 2006 If you're not intending to use it in the wet (therefore the UK ) then semi slicks are fine if DOT legal. I used a T61 with more than average torque (thanks to VVTi) and the Eagle F1 265's I had stuck just fine...and Ian C's T67 hangs on with 265 Pirelli's.
