Sandy-m2
Right here i am sitting at the traffic lights and a feasta is next to me. The girls in it are all having a look and eyeing me up - unfortunatly they are all munters. i decided to get rid of these munters but when i let rip......Snow mode, and they are still beside me.WTF. Apart from turning the traction off as soon as i get in, how can i get rid of snow mode kicking in? Help have to escape the munters!!!! hadyn
snow mode happens when the TC senses loadsa slip and wont let you boost at all This occurs in both facelift and non facelift cars. Facelift had a button to switch it on or off tho?

ivan
Snow mode's a pain in the arse sometimes. Kicks in at the most unfortunate moments. Other times it can be a godsend. I've been deliberately turning it on lately first thing in the morning to avoid any slip on the icy roads. Doesn't stop boost or restrict gearing, just turns the car into a driveable one - bit like a Fiesta. LOL
Soop Dogg
Now Read carefully.... it wasn't in the snow, it was snow mode!! Sorry, but I read the thread TITLE: Almost got Beat by a fiesta - because of Snow!!!! An there was me thinking you almost got beat by a fiesta - because of Snow. Silly mistake I suppose!! dangerous brain
Tell Dangerous Brain that, he raced a Ford Ka and lost And too be honest being an NA alot of fiesta's out there are as fast as me Hey numb nuts I did not get beat by a ford Ka, as well you know I got undertook by one because she was being a dick. I retook her 3 times and the last time I did it she forced me onto the wrong side of the road in very dangerous circumstances resulting in me almost being done for dangerous driving. Now thats my story now an I am sticking to it. As you know I did own her in the end but I aint proud how it happened as all it proved was I was the more stupid really. Made me realise that just cos someone else is being a prick doesn't mean I have to out prick them.
