DaveMassie
Hi people, Had a slight problem with my 94 N/A a few days ago, the temp guage went right up to the redline, then suddenly dropped down to its normal half way position. Thinking the rad had gone I chucked some rad weld in ( I know nasty stuff, but urgently needed to get back home) and it behaved itself all the way back to London from Norwich. I’ve not used the car since, but my girlfriend has done for a couple of short trips and it didn’t missbehave until she used it again this morning for work, and she said it did the same thing, temp went right up and then dropped back down to normal. What would cause this, a sticky thermostat, or is the rad fubar’d? Any help or opinions gratefully received. Dave
Lucifer
Firstly Get that SH** flushed out of there, its awefull stuff and does not do your water system any good at all. {off soap box} Usually specking its the thermostat... well 8/10 times anyway!
