You haven't stated your aims clearly enough, so it could be become a question like 'how long is a piece of string'

For max reliability, MOT-friendliness and min cost I'd say get rid of the first cat and leave it at that.

Still legal, fuelling is within reason, shouldn't even need FCD perhaps plus you get the max bang/buck with your existing intercooling. Plus the fragile turbos won't overspin to death.

If reliability and cost are not considerations, then Sky is the limit --- just sell the lot on eBay or here and fit a single!

Before you go fast, you need to be able to stop. Brakes and suspension first.

Indeedy! What's the point in making the car faster - when your J-Spec brakes are as useful as a chocolate fireguard ?

If you're looking for a more performance and keeping reliability .. then I think that's lot of money.

If I wanted max reliability - I think I would just do:

a) UK Brakes

b) An aftermarket exhaust

Thing is, a bpu supra will easily take you to the naughty side of 140, without really thinking about it. If it all goes wrong at that kind of speed that's when you'll be glad for every penny you've piled into brakes and suspension.

GULP,:badidea: Anybody know whos selling UK spec calipers:ecstatic:

Well the only car to outperform the UK brakes in braking tests according to one US magazine source was the Carrera GT with its 20k brake kit, so if you're that worried then go ahead and waste your money... but I guess as its from the US you cant believe the figures ;)

Before you think Im saying they're better than 6 pots, I'm not, but like I said earlier unless hes a track racing freak or wants to show off the 4 pots are more than adequate for the Supra. :)

I'd be interested to see how often people replace their UK disks. My front ones have been on 4 months .. and already their warped. My rears are cooked too .. but I knew that anyway and their pretty old!

I've not done anything stupid in them ... like Paul Laing .. emergency braking from 100mph - just to test them!
