merckx
This was on the TV a couple of weeks ago, the scumbag they arrested was so difficult to control because he was pumped full of steroids and other drugs. The little girl at the start was his daughter, I think he was stood outside the front of his house selling the drugs. His scumbag partner/wife had the nerve to come out and complain to the two Policeman that he shouldn't have been arrested like that infront of the young girl. Yet she was happy for her to stand there and watch him selling drugs! He got about a year in prison.
imi
And apparently he was stuffed with steriods...one of the reasons why it took two bobbies to pin him down.... for a second I thought they were going to allow him to run away only to use him as target practise....... terribleturner
I think it's funny when the copper with hair sprays the spray into the other coppers face as well as the suspect
Chris Wilson
I watched an "arrest" in Beirut when I was there many years ago, they could have given those 2 bobbies some lessons. It was over in moments, about as long as it took for someone to resist arrest and a semi automatic to deliver 2 rounds

psymon
They should have had F**k off trunchens and just beat the shit out of him. Thats what they deserve anyways, selling filth on streets
Rob
That clip was being discussed on another forum. A resident copper said that if those two BiBs had got some cuffs on one hand, a standard technique is to use a twisting motion on the cuffs which can bring an unruly detainee into check pretty swiftly. Not spraying your oppo in the face is another good technique. I bet his mate is glad they weren't issued with Tazers.
GeordieSteve
I once watched the plod kick seven shades out of a car theif (and I'm talking punches, kicks, battons etc.). Fair play to em!

Rob
I really don't envy the police though, having to arrest guys in these sink estates. All the chavs crawl out of the woodwork and start milling around on the street, looking like malevolent zombies and you know it's only the tenderest of connections and apprehension of the law that stops them from attacking. More pay for the poilce I say, ...and balance that by reducing pay for fireman (runs off to buy more extinguishers)
Chris Wilson
The police need to be routinely armed these days, and the hamstringing from "politically correct" senior ofices needs cutting. In my experience the bobbies I speak to socially could and would sort out 90% of societies problem people quite easily, if they were encouraged to, or even allowed to, by their hierarchy, and if they were supported by the plainly barking mad higher echelons of the judiciary. They fight the street crime with 2 hands tied behind their backs as it stands.
Nick
I know of a couple of coppers that like to take the direct approach. A call came in one night from a guy that had had his car nicked from an estate, and they picked up the joy rider shortly afterwards. He was a well known young scroat, full of himself with no respect for the law or anyone else. He was calling them everything under the sun, until the guy who's car it was turned up then he started on him. Took great enjoyment in taunting the bloke who's car he'd stolen, knowing full well he'd probably get away with it with only a warning. That was unitil one of the coppers said to the guy, who wasn't exactly small and knew how to take care of himself, that if he wanted to have a 'quiet word' they could be busy doing something else for 10 minutes.... Rob
I heard that "zero tolerance" worked really well in Middlesbrough, with street crime and burgalry(sp?) dropping hugely. Drinking in the street You're stopped and questioned. Spitting in the street? you're nicked. Dropping litter? you're nicked. Hanging round shops in groups? Stopped and questioned and so on. It works well here, my wife is running this house under a zero tlerance curfew at the moment. I may sneak into the woods for a cup of strong herbal tea later, PLEASE don't mention it though
