RedM
Nice wheels, nice RED Supra too.
Kopite
Yep red one's a TRD WB, the blue beast isn't a widebody
RobSheffield
hasnt the red one got a TRD wide body meaning the wheels are going to be massive?? i would expect them to be 12" - 13" wide mine are 11" wide on stock sized bodywork, but the offsets may be 'massaged' on these TRD WB kitted cars
Jezz
i would expect them to be 12" - 13" wide mine are 11" wide on stock sized bodywork, but the offsets may be 'massaged' on these TRD WB kitted cars So i need 12" wide wheels when my kits on? chilli
lovely rims, I do love the deep dish look and 5 spokes are my personal favourite anyway
Kopite
So i need 12" wide wheels when my kits on? Thats fat! The Envy Supra's running 18x10 on the front and 18x12 on the rear IIRC. And did you mean "fat" or "phat"
terawua
aww you beat me to it! When I went to the HRE factory in Vista (near San Diego Calif).. I took these photos and met a nice guy who was VP of sales.... These are HRE 540R, but look drop dead gorgeous in the flesh - if I ever get the money for a widebody, these are going strainght on it! Whats more HRE custom make, any offset any width and will even make sure they clear your brakes - whatever they may be...
terawua
just looked at that photo 650 is the South San Francisco area code... so these lucky people have probably just been for a little squirt up the windy mountain roads.... doe anyone else thing that widebody needs the spoiler - doesnt quite look right
Bobbeh
I know what you mean, I think its the angle of the pic makes it look 'not as nice'. All the HREs are 3 peice right? Like me Blitz ones. They have some lovely designs.
terawua
yeah all three piece... custom offset.. custom brake clearance, titanium harware... several colours included in base price, polished deep dish lips, and all really really light... approacting Volks lightwieght even on a large wheel. It was quite odd to be asked what brakes I would like to have the wheels fit over, as opposed to going 'I really like those wheels but I bet they dont fit UK brakes....' Whats more, the guy had personally been involved with 5 widebody supras inthe US, so he pretty much knew what sizes and offsets would work, which is a lot of experience when it comes to something as rare as that - lets juts say I left drooling a little... Bobbeh
Work Equip wheels, nice but not as nice as the HREs. They look like they've been refurbed as they usually come painted in the middle.
Gaz Walker
HRE's are still incredibly expensive though, your talking $6000 not delivered or inc VAT here, and the tyres are another grand or so! Gaz.
kghelmet
does anyone else thing that widebody needs the spoiler - doesnt quite look right the only way i can say it is,it`s like a sexy woman but with a fat arse.

psymon
Is that car not the Candy Apple Red one, posted on here before , maybe prior to being sprayed. It looks very much like it, same wheels and kit, bar bonnet and rear spoiler.
Bobbeh
Different cars.
terawua
Different cars. Yeah like the guy at HRE said - he has been involved with 5 widebody supras.... and thats about as much experience as anyone could hope to accrue.
Bobbeh
The main reason I said that was just looking at it as it is.. it just doesnt need respraying, it MUST be another one I think the wheels are a different style on the Candy Apple one too.
