how many lives does my cat have?!!

I was sat watchin the telly when the cat (charlie) starts miowing at the door to come in. I let her in and notice she has something in her mouth as she runs past.

she goes to her basket and starts playing with her new found toy. The toy she is playing with is shiny so now instantly has my attention! :)

As I can't resist anything shiny (just as bad as the cat!!) I go over and take a look. To my astonishment she's found and is playing with a live bullet!!

I have attatched pics of the bullet to show you just how much she had been paying with it!! that must easily have been 5 or 6 lives gone from the cat!!

It looks like a small caliber maybe a .22, I live in a rural area so will probably have picked it up in the fields surrounding the house. The only thing i can think of is the farmers who own the fields do alot of shooting round there, so may have dropped one (a bullet that is!!).

LOL, Lucky cat.

I maybe wrong but I thought the bullet was only the silver tip. The brass section is just the case which wouldn't still be attached if it was a real used round. Are you sure its a bullet?

yeah definately a bullet, the bullet hasn't been fired which is why the case is still attatched. which would've made a mess of the cat if it had gone off!:sos:

If the bullet had gone off, fired out the cats mouth and hit you in the head, would the cat get sent down for manslaughter?

That'd be a bastard of a case to solve after the cats legged it out the back door wouldn't it!!! No gun, no break in, no witnesses!!!
