Paul Laing Posted September 10, 2003 Share Posted September 10, 2003 I have one of these units with a built in De-limiter, i was just gonna use the de-limiter but now i might use them both. Before i had my LSD fitted from a Twin turbo i could get 110mph along this road, but now i can only get 100mph, could the speedo be out after fitting the LSD? It does seem about 10mph out at top speeds etc. Could the TRL DSC make this correct? Or could it be my new 19s? Paul Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Steve W Posted September 10, 2003 Share Posted September 10, 2003 Pete will confirm, but, YES, if it's the same as my one, it can be altered +/- ~10% with the little 'reo' inside the box ? ! Your wheel/tyre combo will/may alter speedo accuracy if the OVERALL diameter/rolling circumference is bigger/smaller ? (you can alter it by accident OR on purpose to alter ride-height / gearing / clearance / comfort etc etc. ?) I don't know if the LSD is 10% different in ratio ? ? FatS. (ps. I haven't ACTUALLY altered my box yet..... my speedo WAS about 7/8% optimistic, which is the NORM ! but I now have 285/40-17s and the gearing has altered by ~4%, so my speedo is only about 3/4% high now - much 'true-er' anyway) Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
