go-NATs
With the postings about vandalism and Supra thefts, I no longer feel as safe as I thought I would be in my 'retirement' neighborhood! I'm going to get an alarm, but want to make sure I get something that my fellow MKIV owners have experience with. I'd like a GPS tracking type of system, but don't want the monthly fees. If that's too expensive, then a standard alarm with immobiliser would be my next choice. One that can hook up with the power locks. Anyone know of a reliable brand, along with a shop that may save me a few pennies for fellow Supra owners? go-NATS

Pete
First thing I did was buy a decent alarm for my Supra.
RedM
Get a Clifford with Blackjax. I managed to immobilise my own car on saturday much to my embarassment! Even knowing how to dectivate it, the whole Blackjax thing is so stressful that it took me three attempts.
weinelm
I'd recommend the Toad Ai606, it doesn't have a tracker, but it has remote central locking and pretty much anything else you'd want a CAT1 alarm/imobiliser to do!
supRo
I'd recommend the Toad Ai606, it doesn't have a tracker, but it has remote central locking and pretty much anything else you'd want a CAT1 alarm/imobiliser to do! I recommend that too, on my third car with this fitted. Very reliable. Has optional tilt sensor (just in case someone wants your wheels), proximity sensor and auto window closure
toyotasuprauk
From a number of people I've heard the Cliffords are not very reliable.

Scoboblio
I've got a toad fitted too, had a lazerline before that.... I don't think that the toad has been properly "tested" but seems much better than the lazerline, which was easily dealt with when the car was broken into.
