richardharmon
Does anyone know if I can buy the plugs (attached to the loom) that plug into the ignition coil packs (TT) separately? If so then has anyone got a part number for these plugs? I did a search but there was only one reply that seemed to suggest they were just part of the loom. I don’t want to buy a new loom! Terminator
I am sorry to break it to you but they are part of a loom. I remember getting them from a wreck about two and a half years ago for an member of this BBS.
Steve Cargill
Phil, is a a complete engine loom, or just a small section? I've got a few broken ones and should really get them fixed properly some time.
richardharmon
Bugger, Looks like a few cable ties then! I'm going down to the Toyota parts department tomorrow anyway, I'll enquire about the cost of a loom
Wipeout
Did you get a price for a loom? I broke 1 plug when i changed the spark plug's and would like to get a new one. Cheers Chris
richardharmon
Hah, was a bit of a laugh, when they looked up the cost of a loom the system said POA, which is always bad news!
richardharmon
I have also been in contact with Denso about the plugs, stating clearly that I couldn't get the plug from Toyota. Their useful reply basically said, "try the supplier of the origin". I despair!
Guest Terry S
Richard, try [email protected] Put it for the attention of Jeff Watson. He know the Supra inside out and will get the correct part. He is in the US, but is friendly if you get my meaning. Good luck

I've got ONE broken, and will DEFINITELY break more in the future ! (they really ARE a weak point aren't they ? ! ) FatS.
Matt Harwood
DOH!!! - I've broken one today! Richard, did you get anywhere with this? If not, does anyone know of any other car, (more common), that I can find in a scrappy to cut a plug from?
richardharmon
To be honest I haven't tried yet. Been working 16 hour days, will be looking into it further next week.
Willson
A few of my clips have snapped, but the plugs are still completely secure. I didn't see a problem
richardharmon
The inside of the plug has disintegrated on mine, the pins are free to wobble about and so don't line up with the pins on the igniter pack when you try and plug it in. Steve W
me too, I have to carefully push the 2 pins on seperately... once ON they're OK..just a bit of a fiddle... The 'sockets' are ok, it's the bit 'binding' the 2 pins together ? ? somehow Araldite/silicon them together so they plug in as one again but how to 'make' a plug shape ??
