hogmaw
I have the blitz one, works fine, has different boost levels you can set it at, peak mode etc, but you need to get someone who knows what they are doing to set it up right
Suprasteve
I have been looking for a boost controller, just wandering what your views are on the best between these:- Greddy Profec B spec 2 BLITZ DUAL SBC SPEC S cheers keef i've just bought a 2nd hand Blitz Dual SBC. It's fairly easy to fit and program yourself (if i could do it anyone can). I heard good reviews about them hence i got one. boost spikes a tiny bit but i've not finished messing around with the settings yet so should get better. I wanted an Apexi but couldn't afford it. edited cos i can't spell

JohnA
I've got a couple of mechanical ones from eBay sent from Oz, they work a treat, £17 or thereabouts he he...
TrickTT
Used to have the Greddy one, but sold it for an Apexi AVCR cos it looks better. I found the Apexi controlls boost spikes better than the Greddy as well
samsupra37
We use Apexi on most of our cars unless the customer specifies something else, had no complaints so far and even a dumb blonde like me can use them so must be simple enough........ Lucifer
Can I ask why the HKS EVC 5 isnt mentioned? It is a very very good unit.
bromy
I read it dosent work too well with the sequential setup but is fine with singles
Lucifer
I had been running that on my TT's for a year at BPU +++ and stock. It is the best BC I have ever used, but then Ive not used the Profec so cant comment on that. The HKS is very versitile, not only for boost limits, but you can specify the gain too, eg how fast you want it to come in, so you can have a wet day setting for smooth power delivery. Guest Terry S
In my opinion #1 is the Turbosmart E-Boost #2 is the Blitz Dual Solenoid range and for ease of use the HKS EZ2

dangerous brain
What sort of price differences are they?
hogmaw
You might also want to consider matching it with your boost guage. eg the functions on my Apexi boost guage do not work with the Blitz boost controller
mr keef
I only named the blitz and the greddy because you can get them at an excellent price on ebay now,the EVC i had on my GTI-R it was expensive and im kinda on a budget
