Nic
Just found out that there is a supercharger kit for the IS300, this uses the Supra 2JZGE engine (the VVTi version). Looks like it would need a bit of persuading to fit, but could be an option for an NA owner wanting a project http://www.lextasy.com/LMS_IS300_supercharger.htm
bromy
Looks good i dont think we have anyone on the board with a vvti n/a, and looking at the picture would not work on a normal n/a as the blower is bolted where the dizzy is unless you used switched to coil packs, and the air filter looks in a dodgy position sucking nice warm air from above the manifold
Faye
Ooh Nic, you're a bad man! I've been daydreaming about something like this. As Bromy says though, VVTI NA's are a bit rare on this board - only one chap says he has one. http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?t=52423
letmeshowyou
presumably putting a vvti engine in from the lexus first wouldn't be THAT hard tho

Anyone know member Littlecbigd, he's in Leeds, would be good to get photos and list of difference on his VVTi NA.

Will pay for the kit etc !! Tom, for once I'm not selling something here See link in first post, it's a US company that sells the supercharger kit. If you're interested it might be would be worth contacting them and seeing if they can send you photos and install instructions, we could then determine how easy it woudl be to install on a non-VVTi NA Supra. Let us know how you get on.
dangerous brain
As said the dissy needs moving and some other work. I investigated this option over 2 years ago for my aerotop NA and decided against it. I'd personally think a TT swapover lump would be the best option or an NA-T kit.
