colsoop
I just wondered whether it is something worth having as a sticky , it is only a very basic webpage showing the different colours for the supra with examples. If i have used your car and you want it removing please let me know. Let me know if it is worthwhile or not and if anything is wrong. CLICK HERE cheers colin

SimonB
That's weird, that's the first pic of "grayish green" aka gunmetal that actually looks a bit green. I've never seen even a trace of green in it before in real life or in pics. In fact I always wondered what the hell Toyota were doing calling it grayish green in the first place. Mike B
Not a problem using my pic, mine is 1B9 Quicksilver, not silver Mine's lighter than the normal silver - is that quicksilver? this is a pic of it in the auction house - before it underwent surgery!;
SimonB
Pretty sure that's not a standard colour. Quicksilver is kind of half way between silver and gunmetal (or greenish grey or whatever).
Mike B
TBH the car does look a little darker in real life, but it does seem lighter than the other sivers I've seen and i'm pretty sure it's never had a respray. I had the paint for the new nosecone, spoiler and rear spats matched from the lightest end of a toyota silver (there are 6 varients of silver) according to the code on the vin plate. The guy at the paint shop did laugh - he said "they've obviously had a few problems with that silver" - there were a lot of varients from the code, some lighter some darker some with tints of green.... Bobbeh
They did an Alpine Silver and a Quick Silver for the US market, I dont know if they're the same colours as what they sold over in Japan.
merckx
Might be an idea to have only standard cars if it's going to be a sticky. Most of them are almost standard but the red one isn't.

colsoop
Not a problem using my pic, mine is 1B9 Quicksilver, not silver That is just the name that the EPC calls the colours it should probably have an "AKA" column as well Might be an idea to have only standard cars if it's going to be a sticky. Most of them are almost standard but the red one isn't. Thanks for the input. It was hard to find standard cars for the various colours, it was just a cobbled together site, i should probably request pictures from the members based on paint codes, but to be honest the colour question doesn't come up that often does it so it probably isn't worthwhile It was just an idea prompted by that games designing chap no biggie. - the smilie has lost his bag white flag
Nic
Nice one Col, should be moved to FAQ section, as reference for new buyers.
