Scoboblio
My previous daily runner (G reg Rover 216 SLI with 188k on the clock) died on me a few weeks back with what I suspect is a knackered clutch. Now to be honest I can't be bothered with repairing it as it probably wouldn't be economically viable (considering I'd have to pay someone else to do it). The rest of the car is hardly in great shape but it ran just fine before this, brand new battery and alternator too. I've no experience at all with disposing / selling old cars like this, what do you people recommend? I imagine that the spare parts would be worth a few quid to someone, but I have no idea who! Has anyone in the Essex area got experience of a situation like this?
Ray
could put it on ebay?
Scoboblio
Good idea Ray, to be honest eBay is my last resort. Would much rather deal with someone in the real world!
garethr
in the real world, the best deal you're likely to get is that someone will remove it for free.
