Guest ShAuN
I was just wondering if anyone knew if Toyota was going to make a new Supra??? I wish they would so then the MKIV's would drop alittle in price.
Angarak
From other posts on this forum, it would appear another supra is in the pipeline, but it'll be a Lexus. Have a search, there is a picture somewhere of it on a road test (though part of the body is concealed behind a 'blanket').
Scoboblio
so then the MKIV's would drop alittle in price. If they drop any more they'll be giving them away in packets of cornflakes!

Homer
I was just wondering if anyone knew if Toyota was going to make a new Supra??? I wish they would so then the MKIV's would drop alittle in price. As you're fro the US, you will be used to rather more expensive Supra's than us in the UK.... Here they are very cheap cars for the performance, you can pick up a *decent* TT auto for £7k ($12.3k) and a TT 6spd for £9k ($15.9K). Only problem is we don't get any 6spd aero's! Bobbeh
this young fella is from the US...they are like 40 - 60 thousand dollars! Yup, their market is not flooded with imports like ours.
MrDriver
Yup, their market is not flooded with imports like ours. That's right, here in Belgium the same. Paid more then $40K for mine. Well, it is one in mint condition, so it's worth it! Greets, Peter

AJI
Drop in price.... blimey haven't they dropped enough already? There are TT's going for as cheap as £6k-£7k these days.... only a few years back you couldn't pick one up for under £10k. If the new 'Supra' is gonig to be a lexus and given a new name then its not stricktly a new Supra .... IMO. The one in that picture above is a damn ugly thing with too many straight edges... kinda typical of what these modern car designers seem to percieve what the public wants these days..... which I think it isn't.... bring back the curvy slick profile shapes of the mid-90's ! ;-)
tbourner
What about this one: http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?t=55275
trooper
Hard to believe that a car company the size of Toyota doesn't have a high performance car in its line up. I agree with Angarak, the replacement is most likely to be a Lexus so they can charge a premium price for it. I doubt any new model will have the same impact as the MKIV though. toyotasuprauk
The Lexus brand now carries all the ‘Exclusive’ models so if they bring out another sports car it’s bound to be a Lexus, and very unlikely IMO to be branded a Supra.
