Shovels
Not keen on it myself, but just my opinion. He might want to think about a web developer as well. No offence intended - it just doesn't say much for the company image.
Ceptik
Get your dad to hire somebody who's good at designing sites. Also, maybe have a slogan or something made up as, by quickly browsing through the pages myself, im unsure as to what the company is about. Are they model cars or real classic cars? Just my 2p worth. Kudos to your Dad for buying it though!

merckx
I think he was asking about the car and not the website. Nice looking car, the wheels let it down.
ellis
It's clunky and pretty amateur. More likely to turn people away than get them interested in cars! Needs more media rich content, take advantage of broadband, video clips, 360? virtual tours, swf content. I know a team that can!

Pete
Your old man runs Pilgrim eh? Always fancied a Sumo after watching A Car is Born. In fact it was that program that inspired me to build my own kitcar. I always liked the original Minotaur design from 5/6 years ago. The red one that was in the back of all the kit mags? It's a very brave design.

roboldham
how does the Minotaur compare to the Ultima? BTW- sod the "rich content and SWF and flash and broadband" suggestion, that is soooo 1999 - these days it's clean CSS, speed loading on any device and lots of geek details, especially for the market these kits are aimed at - PM me if you want my team to build you a good site '06 style. R Not even close. The Ultima is a proper track machine (Ok Mr Wilson I here ya, it's not very good for that really!), this is for posers IMHO. The Minotaur has been around for donkeys years, but whoever originally set it up didn't really market the product. It was recently unearthed and given a facelift and taken to the shows last year, usually with nothing more than a rope around it and a few leaflets to take. I'm not aware of any magazine tests having been done on it yet. It seems that Pilgrim have it. They're pretty well in with Mr Filby I believe who will I imagine ensure it receives some fair attention over the next few months.
