As for child abusing - if you're over 16 and consent to it is it law breaking? Or do they have to be over 18 to be classed as an adult... I'm Pretty sure it's over 16 for sex but over 18 to be classed as an adult. Anyway, I don't want this to turn into a debate over abuse. I'm just shocked that a Home Office minister can publicly label a section of the populace as child abusers based on the fact that they are paying for sex with an adult. If I knew someone who paid for sex and published it that I thought they were a child abuser then I'd probably get my ass sued off. And deservedly so. Not that I am an expert on this But the greater offence is the prostitute. The police try to scare the men off with a minor charge of "kerb crawling". This is mainly to embarrase the man. My attitude is, you can not stop this profession, so why not legalise it like in Holland, get the girls (or whatever) to have regular STD tests and ensure that they are looked after. Then the authorities can have some control over it. Not that I like the authorities having a lot of control!!!!! Most strumpets are there for a reason, such as drug abuse, others are there because they come from broen homes and perhaps that is a way of getting money. I feel sorry for the poor bastards as they stand out, all weathers waiting for some action. Not that I am watching, sadly my WHITE supra goes faster than 4mph (not that, that's the optimum speed limit for attracting tarts attention). Right I am going now..... I think Fiona MacTaggart made a silly, ill-considered statement. Maybe she is secure in the knowledge that she is unlikely to be shot down in flames: I can't see a spokesman from the Society for Blokes That Use Prostitutes appearing on the News to challenge her on it.
