ellis
A full smack that is! Just dropped the car off at the bodyshop to have her fully resprayed! (And to fill in small dent on rear quarter due to bastard dwarf wall that tried to shag the car). Same colour (costing enough without changing the colour and whipping the engine out!). So she'll soon be as good as new on the outside and ready for a year of meets and shows - this 2 weeks are gonna drag though! Got a luvly Feesta, feels like I'm sat on the roof though, perched up like a dining chair, bleedin awful!
Pig
Wow, congratulations. I bet you wont be taking her to bovingdon and risking stone chip! Hope she looks good!
SupraStar 3000
nice one Ellis, If you don't mind me asking, how much and who's doing the work. Looking at a respray myself in the same colour and also need some body work.

JohnA
Mine could do with a respray as well... Every time I take her for a blast there's a whole new colony of stonechips...
ellis
What colour is the car, mate? Black? Andy Storm Blue mate
JohnA
Mine is also storm blue. I wonder if you can you get away with spraying it black without getting the engine out. It won't be that much of a difference, will it?
ellis
I would have thought you could get away with it, storm blue is pretty dark - probably the best colour to do a respray in if you're not doing an engine out job!
Dragonlady
I'll do it for you mate if you want to save a bob or two. I think i've got a 2" paint brush and roller in the shed.
