Sandy-m2
i've been to look at this car and it is very good condition but is way overpriced. The dash has some damage from the gps system but it minor. i have found lots of better ones cheeper. i'm in Edinburgh and have been told by everyone the Mackays is way overpriced. Jurgen is a good chap he helped me a lot.
iwannasupra
i take it they wont do much haggling then... i am really looking for somewhere i can get finance as well as getting service done, etc... dont think many places in perth do them. although there is a one tuner place here. i just want a nice black manual tt, decent exhaust, alloys and suspension. plus turbo timer and bits. so fairly basic is all i want. wont be doing any racing, or much tuning.. so want a relable machine. Sandy-m2
mackays wont haggle at all the have stuff sitting for ages. the do good service work as far as i am aware but not sure of any tuning or extras. there is a dicksons of dunblane that i think might be ok. not to sure as i am new to this too. hopefully will be a fully fledged and actual owner by the end of this week. jamesmark
as i told sandy in this thread http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?t=55859 .............. mckay trading are rip off merchants they are very overpriced, as sandy said they wont haggle with you just lookt at auto trader there is better out there for less (a lot less) i had a couple of mates that nearly went through them. look at the guys on here even if you were to save for a bit and travel gettingon imported. going for finance through a garage is the biggest waste of money as the intrest rates will be high or the loan you will get will be paying the intrest off first then the loan (this happened to me going through a garage) resulting in when you come to maybe sell or upgrade in a couple of years you will find that you still have 85% of your loan still left, i learnt the hard way, going with mckay for the car and finance you will be ripped off twice go with recomended people just ask on here there are loads on here and also shop around banks for loans if you save first then a service wont be all that bad and most importers will service it for you cheers mark ps from edinburgh originally before moving down to yorkshire incase you wonder why i know mckay are over priced rip offs
Gruggs
Have to agree with everyone else Mackay trading are always overpriced on any car. iwannasupra
i reallly want a black machine, but i would not say no to a silver one if it is just right. i am very picky in what i like. thats why its taken so long to try and find a machine i really like. the alloys in makays are exactly what i want! arg! shame they are a re cocks and not wanting to haggle!
