Entered all these into my diary yesterday.

ANyone know how much it'll cost to hire for the whole day?? Noticed on the booklet they do and just thought it could be an idea, possibly get a couple of clubs involved.

James, any chance booking Bovington airstrip again this year (but making sure to bribe the local council to allow us the full 2 miles ? :ecstatic: )

...i've already started saving up for an extra set of tyres !!!

Well i had hopped for an even better venue this year but they wont hire the airfield :(. So yes it looks like Bovingdon again. Gonna hopefully get the other side of the fence this time. Get Datron to come down and get one of their people to do the timing gear so we have someone who knows what they are doing on hand. And i have this crazy idea of a tyre and entrance package where you pay a price which lets you use the track and will also including fitting of some part worn tyres (F1's, yoko's, bridge) and then yours put back on.

and if you find out how much Pod is then let us know. We still need to arrange a big club event one weekend this year and that might be ideal. We could all camp at Billing and then head to Pod for a days drag racing without queueus (I have a cunning plan on how to avoid people having to queue even if theres loads of cars..)

I'll be glad to help with organising Bovingdon James.

But we do need to try and get hold of or hire a BIG ROAD SWEEPER! To get rid of stones, bolts, bungee ropes e.t.c!!!

Or maybe a whole load of us form a line and walk up the runway collecting all the crap?

Bovingdon is near Hemel Hempstead. It's a good couple of hours from Taunton but if you do a search for Bovingdon you'll see that it'll be more than worth it.

Doesn't Paul (cashpoint) know someone at the local council?? Maybe a brib could see a road sweeper down there :D

I'm gonna work out a couple of dates in the next couple of days so that i can get a full quote on the timing gear. And Ro i will definatly be holding you to that. This year i will definatly be getting people to help.
