RedM Posted January 14, 2006 Share Posted January 14, 2006 Is there a piece of software that will do the following? Tell me how much I'm up/downloading in real-time. What processes/apps are actually using the connection. Run in the background and/or have an icon in the sys tray that I can use to see what is happening. Basically, what has just happened is that the free prog I use was showing an up.download of about 5k per second and this was unstoppable. I used ZA pro to block all activity, ran every piece of spyware, anti-virus stuff etc and all reported okay. XP doesn't update without my permission so I was stumped. Turned out to be that the connection had dropped and the shitty s/ware I use couldn't work that out so just carried on, making it look like something was happening.
