paul mac
came home tonight to the wife in a bit of a state, the supe had been parked on the drive all day and she noticed a car cruising up and down the street with 4 blokes in it looking up our drive she thought nothing off it then the doorbell rang and its one of these blokes asking if she could jump start his car which is now parked conveniantly outside our house and has got a flat battery, with the alsation going ballistic she told him NO and slammed the door and locked it, they then drove away, i think you can guess what would have have happened had she said yes i would now be an ex supra owner, why cant these scum bags get a job like i had to and earn a living instead of leaching off the rest of us, rant over (i do feel better now)

Pete
Nightmare Could've been nasty, good job she's got good sense. This stuff shakes you up though. My friends wife and kids got held at gun point at a McDonalds and demanded the car after robbing the place. She had to frantically pull one of the kids out of the rear child seat as the robbers were going to drive off with her in!! You wouldn't believe how it changed Tracy. She became really withdrawn, ill, pale, wouldn't go out...Awful.
supRo
Should have let the dog take a bite! Mate, I've got one of these so I can see what goes on: http://www.budgetcctvdirect.co.uk/1870VCRBudgetCCTVDetails.htm

letmeshowyou
sorry to hear this mate. Don't suppose theres any CCTV on your road already so you could try to report it?
Homer
Fair play to your misses for being on the ball, but I bet the sound of a large dog barking saved her from being put at further risk... Maybe its time to invest in some obvious cctv cameras? It might make them think twice about trying this in future.
Jake
BLOODY HELL! That's amazing. Respect to your Mrs though, she did exactly the right thing. suprz_rz
Just watch out, as they now know where a nice car is, and they also know that at certain times of the day, only a female is in the house. ( not being sexist, or anything, just how they will see it ) They may well come back and become a little stronger in their persuasion. If you can get it off the road,( stick it in garage etc.. ) or take it with you for a while, so as it isnt too tempting for them to come back and try again.
