Time to bite the bullet

A few months ago I put the Orange Beast up for sale to fund a new rental property. I then got cold feet and decided that I could afford the new place and keep the Beast. Well, I have now completed the sale and realise the money in the car would be better spent on the renovating rather than sitting on my drive.

So, with great regret, I am putting the car back up for sale. The spec is as follows:

Exterior:

• Painted Lamborghini Diablo Orange

• Do-Luck rear spoiler (AFAIK, the only one in the UK)

• D0-Luck front nose / spoiler

• Veilside side skirts

• Veilside wheel arches

• TRD Bonnet

• 18” Chrome Double 6’s

• BL 4” straight through exhaust

• HID Lighting

• UK spec brakes all round

Interior

• Recaro seats covered with orange Alcantara centres, white leather sides and black leather piping with Supra logo stitched into the headrests.

• Door cards and door handles in white leather with orange Alcantara.

• Dash fascia covered in white leather.

• Defi BF series gauges (Oil pressure, fuel pressure, boost pressure and EGT)

• Isotta Kattianna steering wheel

• AEM AFR gauge

RLTC

• Tein EDFC suspension controller

• Blaupunkt Sat nav system

Engine / Gear Box / Rear drive

It has a newly rebuilt engine with just 10,000 miles since fitting. The new parts include:

• Polished and ported head

• New 1mm oversize valves

• New Ti springs and retainers

• New HG

• New ARP head bolts

• New ARP rod bolts

• BoostLogic single turbo conversion with a T71 turbo

• HKS 256 inlet and 264 exhaust cams

• Aeromotive fuel pressure regulator

• 720cc Siemens injectors

• PHR Fuel rail

• Boostlogic Uprated Auto G/Box (and superb it is too)

• 3800 Hi stall Torque converter

• Blitz LM FMIC

• LSD

Engine management system

Motec M800 (tuned by Owen Developments and Motec UK)

Suspension

• Tein Flex suspension with EDFC

• Front aluminium Strut Brace

• Whiteline Anti Roll bars

Since fitting the new turbo the performance has upped to a new level. It is blisteringly quick and has the capability to do a 10 second quarter. After saying that, driving it around town is a pleasure and I regurlarly take it to Tesco's to do the shopping. As you can se from the photographs, it is the kond of car that attracts a huge amount of atention but I can honestly say that I have never had any "nasty" attention at all. Everyone from granny's to toddlers love it!

Being honest, I would say it could do with the nose being repaired and resprayed due to stone marks etc.

The car was up for sale at 25k. I then reduced it to 22k but, as certain members keep telling me, the market is not good. I am therefore going to sell for 20k ovno. I may be willing to look at a p/ex but would only pay trade prices for yours.

First off

After its new turbo what sort of BHP and torque is it putting out?

I am not sure is the honest answer as I still havent had it on the rollers to do a power run. I had a couple of plans to further enhance the Beast and was then going to go back to Motec for tweaking and onto Surrey RR to see what it was making but had not got round to that yet.

It might be worth doing the power run just to speed up the sale of your car. People in the know looking at spending £20k on a tuned car are going to ask to see power figures and possibly proof that cars fueling etc it spot on. I would.....

Thats a very valid point. I feel a trip to the RR coming along.

Sorry to hear your selling, I think this is probably one of the most well put together supe's in the country, I'm not a massive fan of the kit but it blends so well together that the finish is just flawless, good luck with the sale, I hope it goes to a good home!!!!

And surely after putting all the effort in you'd just like to know before you sell it...? :)

To be honest no. I never did this to chase numbers. If I did, it would be visiting a different RR - If you see what I mean. :innocent:

Hope you dont get any time wasters and the car sells to someone who is in or joins the club.

p.s I still have your car as my wallpaper on my pc :respekt:

I hope so to Col. It would be great to have someone buy it who really appreciates the work and effort that went into making it what it is.
