Controversial looks, but good power, impressive list of extras - oh and very cheap to buy now.

Does anyone have any experience of them?

I'm really keen on a test drive and a proper look at one but they're so rare, none near where I live for sale.

Nice looking machine...supposed to be one of the best handlers out there.

I did embarass a German one with a Swiss Driver in Park Lane (mind you mine is a BPU) :D

So is mine, and thats the only thing worrying me.

No doubt its a quick car, but will it feel sluggish with no turbos shoving it along?

I know its going to be a real b!tch when I get taken by a supe, knowing my luck it will be mine!

Where have you been Nish....been a while...

There arent many cars out there that can compete with the Sup and certainly not many if any German cars in the same price bracket.

Mind you...its got a good engine (I think its the 321 bhp version as supposed to the E46 Engine)....on Top Gear I remember Me Needle singing its praises.

Haven't been making the meets, changed jobs, on the other side of london so usually too late to get back in time mate.

The supe really will mess us all up, your right in that performance wise theres not much out there.

Options considered so far:

Lotus Exige S2

BMW Z4 (?)

TVR - Tuscan S, T350

BMW M3

Porsche something or another

I really got no idea!

For one reason or another they all keep getting discounted, closest yet is the exige. Immense fun.

Theres something about the Z3M which intrigues me though

Hey Nish.

1) Why do you want to get shot of the SUP?

2) I'm probably going to change cars in the next 2-3 yrs in which case the only car that I believe can better the SUP is a 911 Turbo (If you can afford one) or a Lambo.

The SUP is a great performer, looks great both inside and outside....really fresh even for today.

I just feel like a change, the supe is awesome, but I like to try new things.

911 Turbos are out of range, buying another property in the next month or two so budget is a max of 25k for now.

Lambo - One day, unfortunately not this year though.

I have driven the M3, and the M5 and yes they have lovely instanto power, but then nothing else - I suppose you just get used to the kick in the pants from the boost coming in, and these just dont have it, which is a little bit of a shame really.
