Guru
OK before I scream loud enough for everyone to hear I thought I would better ask. I have a Jspec pre facelift and yes the bulbs compare only to a huge pile of steamin' poo I have read this http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?t=49149&highlight=bulbs which seems to be the best advice so far one what bulb but is still very sketchy. My question is simple.......I want bright white lights so which 9005 and sidelight set should I get? HID's are no go-ers as too much money Please post your opinion and links to where is the best priced

LeeT
i bought some luminics on ebay which were praised quite a bit on supraforums. they cost £20 with a lifetime guarantee and are the best ive tried yet. im not sure if the guarantee will hold up or not though
tbourner
I thought you needed 9006 for j-spec? To fit both main beam and dipped (chop off the runners for dipped). Isn't 9005 got too big diameter connector (22mm compared to 20mm)?
tbourner
Nope, I'm an idiot, it's 9005.
SimonB
I've got Philips blue vision from http://www.powerbulbs.co.uk. Much better than stock, much whiter than normal although not the same as HID of course.
Rajinder
http://www.priracing.co.uk/section.php?xSec=22&jssCart=8a0fa6e7dc27506131aa22adadca3295 Next best thing to HID and at a fraction of the cost is to get PIAA extreme white bulbs. I got 9006 which can fit both the dip and the high beam without any cutting or chopping. It is just plug and play. You get two rubber O rings with them and you use white for low and red for high, very simple. They are so good that they can be mistaken for HIDs and are just pure white light. They are £76.66 per pair including next day delivery. I bought them from the above company run by a very helpful and knowledgable fellow.
