Ive tried holding fob buttons and taking out dome fuse but no luck... Can anyone help? Ive searched for this and it appears a PM could sort me out !!! nickyboy Posted January 6, 2006 Share Posted January 6, 2006 Hi mate, Is that the red light on the alarm that stays on continuously. How long are you holding the key fob for when you say holding on? If it's the dealer fit Toyota 5000 (Scorpion) it's Thatcham approval number is TC1-75/0694. The original alarm documentation that came with my car states: "The theft deterrent system fitted to this vehicle has designed in accordance with the recommendations of the association of British insurers. It provides a deterrent by combining an engine immobiliser with a security module that controls warning sirens" Among other things the features list includes: Passive Arming 2 Stage Immobiliser Auto Reset Battery Backup Siren Door, bonnet and boot protection Ultrasonics... Ive tried all combo's on the fob and held the buttons for about 14 secs untill the fob light dims. I have searched on this and i read somewhere that some info can be sent via PM as the information doesnt want to b seen on forums for security reasons..... maybe this doesnt apply to this alarm problem?
