RedM
I've been playing on the ol' Xbox a lot lately. Half-Life 2, Far Cry, San Andreas and Breakdown (purchased brand new from Virgin for 0.99p and just about worth it:rlol:) I've lost hours. I've spent over 500 minutes just reaching chapter 5 of HL2:whistle: I'm 34. Should I be doing something else with my time?

Pete
I'm 34. Should I be doing something else with my time? I'm 30 and still play games. Nowt wrong with that. I lost several nights to The Movies the other week until I realised I really shouldn't get that absorbed into a game. Some games just grab you don't they? RedM
Laughed like a loon when I discovered you could fire those circular blades at the zombies with the Gravity Gun. Some of the game is very gory.

China Man
I am 27 and I play average 20 hours a week. I used to do a lot more hours but I can feel my body is not as good as when I was 18..... I do get out a lot too, to work for example

silvasurfa
Yup, sometimes I can go months without touching it, and others, I can't put it down!!! (my PS2 that is, not my cory) (well actually... lol) Anyway... San Andreas, I was hooked on that game, best thing that ever happened to my relationship was completing that game!!! Tone
I've lost many a day to championship/football manager. Can go 3 or 4 hours without even playing a game, just sorting my team out! GTA San An is another where I can get totally absorbed and lose hours just roaming around shooting people and nailin ho's

Bobbeh
I play a lot of games, but its either that or watching TV during the week, so games it is I dont consider it a waste, what I did waste my time was playing some online webpage based game called planetarion, to spend 5 months developing a planet to then have it wiped out by a bunch of whores ganging up on ya is a big kick in the balls
Nick
WoW is responsible for my life flashing by - i KNOW im going to be playing it a good few hours today! It's also responsible for me buying an Apple powerbook and 23" display ! I managed to resist the temptation until I saw the game.... Great fun though, haven't been this hooked to a game since Elite on the BBC B when I was a kid.
garetheves
I completed HL2 on the PC before mine died. It really is an awsome game. Im currently hooked on San Andreas on me Xbox as well. Cant put it down. Still in Los Santos and trying to complete everything before moving onto the next city. Awsome, but massive game. I dont think theres anything wrong with playing them loads although my other half will prob say different.
tbourner
Generally I don't play many games any more. Get up in the morning, go to work, hours driving, get home at 6 and start the other job for about 3 hours, bit of time with the missus then another hours driving, get home at 11, go on the PC for half hour - then I get to go on the PS2!! Weekends are taken up by uni work as I don't get time during the week to do it!!
Ian C
I'd rather play games than zonk out watching TV for the whole evening Games are interactive and need thinking about, and are even sociable if it's multiplayer. I'm spending most non-work hours on UFO:Aftershock at the moment, then it'll be back to BF2 and Eve Online, yay. HL2 is one of the best 3d shooters ever, if not the, IMOO. "We don't go to Ravensholm" - lol, how many of you just KNEW you'd be heading in that direction as soon as Alyx said that! Oh, and the third spinny-blade-on-motor thing was absolute genius - anyone else know what I'm talking about? -Ian
