michael
I've decided to flog my neglected PS2 but have no idea what it's worth or if I should split it down or sell everything together - basically I want as much cash as possible in a bid to spend more on my PC Any ideas? Original PS2 complete with the following.... The Getaway SSX FIFA 2001 GT3 A-Spec GT4: Prologue Dog's Life Need For Speed Underground Need For Speed Underground 2 Burnout 2 Crazy Taxi True Crime Streets of LA BMX XXX Auto Modellista The Sims ToCA Race Driver GTA: San Andreas GTA: Vice City Formula One 2003 Enthusia - Professional Racing Playboy: The Mansion R: Racing Evolution (NTSC, doesn't work on this PS2) On top of these I should have Tekken 3, GT4, Tony Hawk 3 (I think) and maybe another one or two.... I also have a memory card, official DVD remote thingy, 2 controllers and a multiregion hack DVD thing and whatever you get with a PS2. It's the original larger one, despite all the games it hasn't been used much, I get bored easily I reckon I'll get more selling it all separately looking at the list... Thoughts? Otherwise what's it worth mister?

That's what I suspected, at £5 > £15 each for the games I'd make more than selling it as a bundle and then maybe ask £50 for the system itself? Happy new year matey. I recently tried selling a ps2 simillar setup struggled to get any offers over 100 pounds its still in the for sale section if you want to have a peep at what was going with mine. Next step is to try one of those cash converter type places i think see if i can squeeze anymore out of them. Good luck.
MARTIN R
£50 cash for the PS2 is about right, ( £99.99 for a new one) reckon you would be better selling all of it individually, some of games retail for around £12.99 and £9.99 each now. If you fancy a 360 maybe trade the lot in as part payment. Some places are doing specific trade in promotions
Bobbeh
I'd keep the games as you can play them with the new console.. unless you're just getting rid of it all
Ceptik
I've just traded in 4 PS2 games for NFS Most Wanted on PC. Got £12 off. I've also got about 10 games on ebay at the moment for £5 each plus £5 shipping. If they all sell then that's £100! Not bad for 10 old games on their own. Could try it that way. michael
I'd keep the games as you can play them with the new console.. unless you're just getting rid of it all I don't really plan to get the new playstation when it appears or a 360 etc - I think my console days are finally over in favour of PC gaming. No doubt this will change when a super amazing Gran Turismo game appears but for now it's just taking up room under the TV that could be used for something else. As has been suggested I suspect selling it all of seperately is probably the way ahead, I'll get stuck with a few games no doubt but I'll trade them in for a mousemat at Game
raymanuk
Best to sell everything individually. For some of your older games you may get £5 trade in. Also it depends what generation ps2 you have will also affect the price but only if the person buying the console knows what he is looking for. Check this link to see which revision is yours. Would be interested in buying Burnout 2 from you if you want to sell separately? Cheers, Ray

I'm still gonna get a PS3, its nice to have a console as well as a PC just for those games that will never see the light of day on a PC.. like as you said Gran Turismo! michael
It's an old school one bought in the first week of release but I'll compare the serial number to that site to be sure - thanks for the link! I've made a package up with a chap at work who might be interested in buying one and I'm waiting to see if he's interested and if so what games he wants - if Burnout 2 is available I'll be in touch asap
