I love this game too... But its starting to annoy the shit out of me at the moment with the milestones :( I am currently number 3 on the blacklist..

Any tips guys on getting away from the hoards of cops....!

Number 3 - not bad! You driving a Supra to get there?

Getting away from the cops when they are swarming is not easy, obviously you know about the 'red triangle' and 'white circle' thingys?

Yeah.. But as you get to state 5, then the cops are driving Corvettes and there are spikes all over the place.

I have 2 cars, Supra and the Evo. Supra is the best car in the game if you tune it, mines at maximum acceleration, top speed and handling - awesome!

I got this on the PC @ crimbo, looks the dogs and I also have a steering wheel/pedal combo so its a bit more realistic than using a joystick/keyboard.

I've got several cars: Supra (won), Lambo Gallardo (won), Porchse Carrera (won), Evo VIII (bought), Punto (bought), Golf GTI (bought), clio v6 (bought).

Im currently #6 on the blacklist, and Ive modded all the cars as much as I can do (until I beat #3 then I can get the final mods). I have to say the Supra is nice (specially with my extra token mods on)....but the Fiat Punto is without doubt the best car in the game...chavs must love it!

I'd like to say the game is realistic, but my Punto handles better and has a higher speed than my Supe! The fastest car Ive been in on a good run was the Golf Gti (215kmh), my supra does about 190 and my Punto does more than that.

Not exactly realistic, but love it all the same. To lose the cops, use the destructible objects in game (red triangles), use tunnels to lose the police chopper (level 4+) and use the 'slow down time' thingy to avoid SUVs (level 3+) and road spikes...its also handy for taking 90 degree corners fast without using the wall/buildings as a brake lol.

If your short on cash for mods, simply re-race races/milestones you've already completed.

Completed this on xbox, wow the last chase milestone is impossible! tip, if you want to get the next blacklists car, sell all but your current car, one of the tokens you select should be a pink slip, since you really do need 2 cars in nfsmw. :D

Regarding the Punto issue...Is that out yet? Because i must say, its the one of the sexiest hatches i've seen. The front lights look as though they're from a DB7 or 9 and the back looks focus-ey. I've had a look on the Fiat site but cant find anything that looks remotely like that.

Another little tip: When approaching 90-degree or hairpin turns at high speed go into the corner and use the speedbreaker. Line yourself up with the road ahead, take the speedbreaker off and hit the NOS button. This way the other cars take their time around bend while you've gone round it quick AND used NOS to give a big boost ahead.

Forgot to mention that if your going to sell one of your modded cars, take it to the 'tuners' first and sell all the mods on it, then sell the car in stock form.

This will generate more cash from the sale since you will be offered the same amount of cash for the car regardless of stock or mods.

Cheat discs? :p

Can you do races over and over again? How do you do it after the magic ring has gone?

Goto Safe house, select Blacklist, select Races or Milestones...and choose one :) (previous races you have completed will have a tick, but u can still do them again and get more dosh)

I luv this game, I dunno how I missed this thread I was going to start 1 myself.

I am currently challenging jewls - #8 I believe. Thing is though I get too distracted from the main race events and just outrun the cops, I must admit though, the gameplay does slow down alittle when you have 5 or 6 cop cars after you and you come across another 8 in a roadblock but hell, who cares. I have it on PS2 38% complete and busted it 100% on my PSP but I had it about 4 months ago on the PSP.

Im currently using the Supe, And think I will untill I prefer something else, which I doubt I will.

Its black on a set of Racing Hart alloys with carbon bonnet etc will post some pics later.

Had my biggest bounty score last night of around 170,000. Didnt finish playing till 2:30 this morning, I just lose hours playing it.

If I wanted a 'real driving simulator' I'd go and drive my car - this game however lets you do pretty much what you want. I am so glad they re-introduced the polics again as NFS: Hot pursuit on PS1 what great and thought the NFS series suffered a tad without them. I must say though I preferred NFS:UG over UG2 as it was something new but UG2 just seemed more of the same.

My 2p's worth anyway - will get some pics up later :D
