Removing front indicators - permanently!

Has anyone removed their front indicators permanently.

Doing this will increase the airflow to the SMIC and make it look better aswell.

I was thinking about dispensing with the fog light in the headlight and using it for the indicator, only trouble is that you need to find a new position for the side light aswell because on the facelift car it's located in the indicator housing.

I've considered using the main beam as the side light, If I feed the side light supply to the bulb but passing it through a resistor to reduce it's supply current and therefore reducing its light output.

Or is it possible to get a headlight bulb with 2 filaments like you can with some rear light bulbs.

Anyone done this. I know some on Supraforums have but not with the facelift light?
