TrickTT
yeah, the very first lesbian couple to do this when the law changed (in northern ireland i think) was the same - one was very butch. I think our idea of real lesbians has been affected by too much looking at the "wrong sorts" of website:blush:

Green Peace
I know plenty of girls who are not Lesbians that dont like wearing dresses and they are not Lesbians, I know str8 blokes that like wearing dresses, I know Lesbians that like wearing dresses and most gay blokes I know dont like looking feminine...odd bunch of friends I got..but there you go! We all think that in a gay relationship one has to be the women and one has to be the bloke...but from what I have seen it dosn't seem to be like that..but interesting topic, interesting world we live in too! tbourner
I've never understood that anyway, as Pete said earlier why does a lesbian woman make herself look like a bloke to attract another female - because it's gonna be a straight female she gets and she won't be happy when it comes to the lovin!!! Same with blokes dressing like women, some of them even look convincing!! I wouldn't have a problem if they admitted it but I'm sure there are quite a few who go as far as they can with the straight person without telling them!!! I'm not homophobic BTW, I have a couple of gay friends (Actually don't see them very often any more but never mind), but I don't agree with cross-dressing. Green Peace
lol...my brov got chased down a road in Thailand by a bunch of ladyboys...they can get nasty if you offend them! A lesbian I used to work with looked like a bloke and she had the most stunning girlfriend unfortunetly she took her out for a drink at a bar called the Edge on Soho sq which is known to be a mixed bar..and she met a bloke and went str8 again...but she was a real stunner. My (other) brothers g/f' however left him for a butch lesbian busdriver and she was feminine, skirts and makeup slim and contoured, all that sort of thing! Then of cause there is Bisexuality...a lot of it went on at my school...most of em are married now, a mate of mine in the army encountered blokes coming on to him on an almost regular basis at the barracks...yet they all had g/f's...there is so much beneath the surface of what some people like to term as normal!...people who openly admit their sexuality or their feelings are just the tip of the Iceberg...beneath that there is a huge Titanic of lifes passengers that are in denial!!!!!! oxygene
oxy what do you mean offs, same thing would have applied if when you got hitched you or your partner wore a dress , or doesnt that apply I was commenting on the irony of the situation. I know several lesbian couples who have the same male/female roles. It is not usually picked when they get together, its is adopted by the personality of each person. In the case of two of my friends, one is very masculine (you wouldn't wanna meet her on a dark night in a blind alley!) and the other is quite feminine. They are planning a Civil Partnership later this year and are both wearing dresses, even though one of them is more masculine than the other. In the case of the couples that have been seen already, it's what they feel comfortable in. Some women dont feel comfortable wearing dresses and choose trousers instead. I don't think he was saying that women can't wear trousers, I think he was just after a response as to why they go out of their way to make themselves look like a man. I wear trousers, I'd like to think I don't look like that!!!!
