Contacted the cops who arrived within 5 minutes and I gave them a statement etc...

Still filled with adrenaline as I had to search around the building with the policeman.

Heard the alarm go off at midnight and a window smashing, soon after a black car pulled up without any lights (on a main road :( ) and a chav in a white coat and blue baseball cap ran-around from the back of the pub across from our house carrying something, jumped into the car and drove off.

Strange thing was, around the window and spattered on the floor was a large amount of blood.

The robber must have cut himself on the window (HAH HAH) and during the search the police found the manager cowering upstares (shit scared and probably hiding).

The police said it was odd he hadn’t made any attempt to get help.

Anyway,.. thought Id share as I can't sleep now :)

Well I expect he needed to let his cousin get away first before he called the cops:Popcorn:

What an exciting adventure though...I love things like this..I turn into Inspector Morse...I think we should have a Supra Murder mystery Weekend...'Who throttled Jake?...was it Mr Green with a split hose ?, or was Sheenas cake poisoned!:yu:

Hope the little toerag gets his just deserts (if it isn't an insurance job lol)

I remember when a joyrider crashed into our front wall when I lived at home with my parents. We went outside after a big bang and saw the little street rats scurrying away. My Dad noticed there was a dozen cans of beer in the footwell, and one half drunk.

My Dad told the policeman when they turned up, so what did they do? Thats right, reached right in, picked them up and offered them to my Dad?! Sounds like the boys in blue were SLIGHTLY more clued up on this occasion!

The only problem with the DNA fingerprint is that they generally need a suspect to match it to. The UK database only contains about 2 million people and in about 60% of cases, there is no match to the database.

On the other hand, my information is old (back to university days), so things might be a bit better now.
