CJ
Try to run 10miles in sub-70mins. 10/10 for sticking to it, 5/10 for achieving it. Sub 70 mins would be a very good time. Good luck. Mine is to once again try to lose weight. This year it should be achieveable as I have finally sorted out my knee problems so training is back on the agenda. It should also be easy as I am such a fat bastard now the only way the weight can go is down!

A little advice for you, the key to weight loss (permanently) is an upped metabolism. The best way to do this is via weights. Especially the legs! Work on your deadlifts and squats, they work your body's biggest muscles. Large leg muscles are a sure fire way to a high metabolism, as they burn calories even when doing nothing. Add a controlled diet and your sorted.
Kopite
And lots of water too! Helps the metabolism, eat small meals more often to keep it going throughout the day. i'm gonna try and get back down the gym, not been since the end of October because of work/exams, actually missing it (lycra-clad birds make it worth goin ) And take regular pics so you can actually see the progress
CJ
Thanks for the advice guys, I need all the help and support I can get. I have been easing myself back in slowly by walking 3-4 miles each day at a brisk pace. The knee is holding out well so may start a little jogging soon too. Then i will alternate between cardio and weights on a daily basis - well, thats the plan
Guest Miss V
Mine is to stop smoking (again!). Although now I have got rid of the stress in my life it shouldn't be too hard, so I would say an 8 My other is to stop going for the gorgeous lads, especially if they are a doorman or a hairdresser - this might prove to be difficult though so would rate this as a 1-
