I've just got back from the hospital. My Jemma (10 y/o daughter) is in there with suspected appendicitus. Her mum is staying with her tonight. Only one parent allowed to stay overnight.

Guess what I'm doing tomorrow night?

Short straw eh? But flesh and blood and all that mate, good on ya :)

Opps its new years eve already and we have nothing planned! Personally as boring as it sounds I really don't like new years eve, its such an anti climax and for some reason makes me feel a bit depressed.

The last time we went out to a club on new years it was shockingly bad. We were in a massive queue to get in, then a really massive queue to get a coats to the cloakroom, then a really really massive queue to get to the bar just when I got almost to the front the bar shut so the staff could also celebrate new years eve. You get the idea of how fun it was. I'm sure they had about twice the 1800 people capacity in the club you literally could not move so we left at about 12.15.

I've been to a few good street parties they used to have in Brighton but they aren't running this year. Sorry to hear about your daughter Jake hope it all goes well, sadly I've spend enough time in hospital this year so I guess I should be glad to see in the new year.

Sorry if I sound negative I'm not really! I hope everyone has a good evening and Very Happy New Year!

I'm going to a local pub that limits the number of people getting in. There is a live band there and a stop on for as long as you can drink. I am going to be wearing my lucky black under pants that i bought 4 years ago - thay have to come through with the goods soon! :D

My eldest son was about that age when he had his appendix taken out. I hope she gets well soon Jake.

Hope everythings ok with your Daughter Jake.

I'll wish my happy new years to you guys n gals now, as new years eve is my busiest night of the year (and most profitable!!). So today will be spent in bed ready for a ten hour dj'athon tonight. Eight o'clock start, two gigs, 120 mile drive just after midnight, lots of red bull, and finish at 6am!.

The next year will be a whole new experience for me, as we're expecting our first daughter in feb/march. I hope you all have an enjoyable new years eve, and all the best for the new year. look forward to seeing some of you throughout the year. Jez. :ok:

jake,

my thoughts are with both you and your family at this time. you are one of the best blokes I ever have / will meet and i hope that your family is ok going into 2006.

you know what my year has been like and I hope that you and everyone else have a fantastic send off of 2005 in what ever form they need to get rid of the current year.

i intend to toast my mum, my mates (local), my mates (Supra & JNE) and the women I have loved and lost over the last 12 months.

then get extremely drunk some where and wake up ready to hit the New Year afresh for all that it has to offer. And I hope after reading what I have that I see you and your family safe and well in 2006

yours

Tom

A friend who does care.

I might let them play with my hose, slide down my pole, [insert fireman innuendo here], etc, if they're very lucky ladies :p

It's unfortunate you have to work (especially if you're leaving soon?), but don't worry, there most certainly will be camera action, so you can live vicariously through me :D
