Soonto_HAS_soop
Right, got new cams coming and I have 75k on the clock of my soop. Whilst the cams where getting changed I was considering to change the valve stem seals before they decide to start smoking. My question is, everyone else that is running HKS cams, have you changed any other parts of the valvetrain? Springs, retainers etc etc? I'm not planning on revving to 9k+ or actually anything above stock, but is it worth me doing anything to the standard Mr T stuff, or should I just do the valve stem seals and leave it at that? Any of the more experienced members care to enlighten me and possibly my wallet?

Soonto_HAS_soop
But I don't know the answer to your question either! [John Wayne]Get outa my thread then.... [/John Wayne] Anyway it is more of a question than a technical problem, so better off in Supra Chat Anyone have any proper input?
Nic
CW rebuilt my head with HKS cams and did a write up of the work he did [thread=2480]HERE[/thread]. From what I remember, Chris didn't reckon it was worth going for aftermarket parts for the valve train, unless you were going big single, big power. Soonto_HAS_soop
No good to me, as he is no longer hosting the webiste he links to... Someone must of put 264's on a soop, did they change anything else??
b_have
I've used 264's since '92. Didn't change anything else internally. Due for a freshen up now, will be stripping it in Jan.
