typy
Hey! Hw reliable would a supra be with this sort of power?? Im looking at 2, 2 buy at the mo! Both around this power 1 with T78 and 1 with T88 Turbo!! Cheers
TLicense
Depends entirely on how good the quality of the work has been done. If it was done really slap-dash then no it won't be reliable. If it was done properly then it will be very reliable.

Guest Terry S
T78's & T88 are as previously stated laggy and have been superseeded by some very nice turbo's now. Just a heads up, oh and the T88 really needs higher octane fuel/loads of boost, to get the best from it. If you want to try a well set up single car I am only in Watford and happy to give demo's

jagman
700 bhp and relialbility will not go hand in glove, and most people could not afford it,and as a road car is mad!,how many on this board have whacked the car -summer and winter in standard trim? let alone 600plus bhp

typy
Is 500bhp the limit for them really then...... wivout goin in2 stupid money!! Just really want a quick car (im aiming 2 be quicker then gt2 speed)
jagman
if speed is your ultimate goal, then reducing weight is far easier and way cheaper, the downside is your road car looks like shit, and there are no comforts. even 500 bhp will not be either cheap or really reliable, its still a large increase in power over stock, even with toyotas good design, and build quality ,165 bhp / litre is a big ask,its almost the same as TWO 5.3 v12 jags!!! I know there are guys and gals on here with quite large increases in power but I suspect that we will see a lot of threads shortly"my engine has gone bang":scare:- probably on a dyno ! Just really want a quick car (im aiming 2 be quicker then gt2 speed) buy mine its quick enough around the power 500-600bhp with the option of more power in the future if u want it all though you will have few upgrade to do, but saying that its cheaper and also might be enough power for you. imo 500-600bhp is enough tbh unless your aim is to be king of the drag strips
