Toyos, Goodyears or Continentals

I agree with Leett, I had some Toyos on the rear and in anything other than warm dry conditions they were unpredictable to say the least. I moved to F1's and the increased grip available in all conditions was very noticible. The only thing I miss is being able to spin the rears in every gear.

I need to change the rear tyres on my soop, and have been offered Toyo Proxes T1R's, Goodyear Eagle F1'sor Continentals.

Which would you go for?

The price is £165 each Fitted for the Toyo's or £173 for the other two.

The size is 275/35/18

I would go for F1s, but that's not a great price. I just paid £144 each for mine in that size, and that was from the local tyre place, not the absolute cheapest (usually Micheldever).

I'm looking for some new rear tyres but I cant get the Goodyear in my size, so far my research suggests the toyo T1-r's are good and have recently been improved.

Also make sure your local tyre places will fit as i asked a few local to me and they wont fit unless they supply!

Blackcircles have been the cheapest I've found for the toyos and they have lots of places that fit around the country.
