I am trying to find a place in the bulk head to run the pipe for my manual boost gauge. Any ideas as I cant seem to find anywhere thats central or am I looking at drilling?? Its a manual and yes I have heard the autos are easier to do!!!:faint: :help:

On the passenger side the main wiring harness comes through the bulkhead near the wing, if you feed it through from the engine bay it should drop down into the footwell.

On the drivers side on the manual there is a grommet in the footwell, if you feed something through it will come out in the inner wing. There's some access into this area in the engine bay.

I would say the first option is better for boost gauge plumbing but you have to be careful not to interfere too much with the wiring harness.

I have fed an 8 gauge amp cable as above passenger footwell method. I made a slit next to the wiring harness on the same grommet. I then used a coat hanger with the cable attached on the end to push it through and it came out of the inner wing where there is a hole with a yellow plastic surround if I can remember correctly

Pipe??

Passenger footwell - Just remove the kick panel on the left, peel back carpet and remove the ECU cover - You will see the ECU wires going into a grommet. Look down the inner wing, near the charcoal canister and you will see the hole that it will come out of.

Yeah sorry, I'm going to feed the pipe where the wires all go and then upto the dash clock where the gauge is. Sounds straight forward, what is the charcoal canister for and can I take my feed off the plenum chamber that leeds to the charcoal canister? Cheers
