Terminator
Building a second engine, similiar spec to Lucifer, single, built box etc. Leaving the body stock as a sleeper, I don't want any kit to slow me down. Decided to build another so I was not under pressure to complete to use the car. Ripping the old engine out sounded like a good idea after the Skyline transplant into my sons car. Ian C
I'm remapping mine with the E-Manage Ultimate and it's rather difficult when the roads are cold, wet, and/or icy/snowy. I'm focussing on the 0 to 2000rpm range, 0 to 10% throttle -Ian

Ian C
How is the Ultimate over the old version? Gav Good. Getting there. I'm working with Digsy to sort out some electronics that it'll inteface with to cure the 3000-4000 rpm freakiness. I'm gonna have a stab at the upping-the-rev-limit stuff once the opportunity to test presents itself. I just found the launch control won't work though as the stock ECU doesn't like the ignition cut - it faults out and cuts the injectors to, I think, prevent CAT damage. Ironic as they are in the loft. -Ian
Tannhauser
Ouch, what happened Cliff? Short version of long story: Torn injector 'O' ring -> fuel leak -> possible damage from engine running lean But as Martin says, we're guessing at the extent of the damage at the moment.
