Prettiest cars ever?

Road Car - McLaren F1

Open wheel race car - 1992 Jordan Formula 1

Closed wheel race car - Porsche GT1 (from FIA GT)

I've always liked the curvey aerodynamic shapes which came into play in the early 90's. It took F1 two years to create one of the most curvey looking F1 cars ever. McLaren realeased their F1 road car in the mid-90's which had all the right curves in the right places and also in the mid-late 90's Porsche had their great looking GT1 race car competing in the FIA GT championship.

That is one of the nicest supras i have ever seen

To be honest though, the soop is prob one of my all time favorite cars. I really dont think there is much out there that is as good looking. However it must have the uk scoop and i love the horns! (app. bad taste!)

My own favourites are the Lancia Gamma Coupe

and as a Sports racing car the Lola T92-10 Group C car

I have never made a decision on open wheel race cars, but I prefer older 50's and 60's stuff.

I also loved (and owned) a Chevron B16

Some beautiful cars posted by others, sadly beauty is often skin deep, the gamma Coupe i once owned must rate as the biggest mass prodution lemon ever made. I adored it's looks, I don't think it ever completed a journey of more than 200 miles under its own steam, pun intended.

Personally, I've always loved the older Mustangs...

Chris, No disrespect meant, but is that Lancia any relation to one of the poorest Ferrari's ever made? The 400 gt?

Matt: I think as Pininfarina designed both shapes the similarity is there, and both are of a similar era. i too like some of the late 60's, early 70's Americana. I always liked the Dodge Challenger Hemi, in Plum Crazy colour. (Not the Charger, as in Bullet, but the Vanishing point model). That famous Coke bottle sideline was great, even the English got on board, with the Vauxhall Ventora FD shape.
