Conrad
Ok, just got myself a Blitz boost gauge for my Sup to make sure everything was Ok. Installed it tonight and a little worried to see I only get around 0.7bar boost on first turbo. Maybe a little more when both online - approx 0.75. My mate said it peaked at 0.8bar but I've yet to see it do that myself. If anything it's more consistant at 0.7bar. Should I be worried - I thought it should be more than that.... hadyn
0.75 bar on the first turbo is very healthy Take it out for a good run on a long stretch of motorway etc. You should peak at about 0.8-0.9 bar stock
Nic
Stock boost is around 0.8bar, you'll probably need to be in at least 3rd gear to see this, in lower gears you may see slightly less.
China Man
I worried when I first got my car when I see 0.7bar of boost. It took me 6 months until I find out that I wasn't driving hard or fast enough China
hadyn
Make sure you really engage kickdown too when flooring it. Push your foot to the floor hard and then push again when you feel the pedal is right at the floor, this will engage kickdown
Conrad
Cheers all, relieved to know everything is in order! I'm gonna take it out on a proper run as suggested by Hadyn. Thanks....

nickyboy
Mine (stock) hits 0.8 on the nose.
Conrad
Mine (stock) hits 0.8 on the nose. Your tiptronic Sup before the Decat? My Sup is 11 years old so maybe that's why it's a little less. Best get me a decat and then I don't need to worry about anything!
Class One
Mine hits 0.9bar.

nickyboy
Your tiptronic Sup before the Decat? Yup - tipt and no decat. Do you have any mods eg induction kit/aged air filter?
Conrad
Yup - tipt and no decat. Do you have any mods eg induction kit/aged air filter? Absolutely no engine mods, the cars standard. Would have liked a more consistant 0.8 but nevermind. I only got the gauge to make sure there was nothing wrong. To be honest, I thought the first turbo was a bit sluggish compared to the second. Thought perhaps it was on the way out or something. Thankfully it seems Ok. Still not entirely happy with the performance though. I'm just gonna have to go BPU - after xmas mind as it's expensive enough this time of year!
