I got my December pay and the bonus. Last year I bought the exhaust and HID where this year I can't spend a penny of it :stickpoke

all going toward my wedding in April. Next bonus in June will be bigger and I promise myself that I would not let anything stand in my way of modding :yu:

Gonna ring up Dell tomorrow and tell them that Canon only gave me a poxy bottle of wine ;)

I was talking to the lad who dropped it off and talked about having a night out (me, my mate who deals with canon and a few of the canon lads... all mates). He said to get it sorted and he'd put it down as a customer relations event... a night on the drink on Canon's books ;)

I got something that's not strictly a Christmas Bonus, but just happens to be paid in my December paypacket.

Its called a (get this!) a Special Priority payment. Its paid to frontline staff (like i used to be  ) or to holders of posts that are "difficult" to fill.

It was originally conceived to reward those who are in 24 hour posts as opposed to the office dwellers who work Mon-Fri and weekends off, as we don't get a shift disturbance allowance. However, it's turned out to be one of the most devisive payments as some of the posts (ie difficult to fill ones) are in effect office posts and some of those attract a higher payment than offered to those working in "24hour" frontline posts.

Anyway it'll be the last year I get it  and I expect my wife already has plans to spend it.

Anyway it was a nice surprise in my paypacket.

£25 M&S voucher.

And we got a warning that the official line on any gifts we get from suppliers is to put them in the Boardroom for "redistribution". Did that with all the IT supplier freebies I'd accumulated last year (countless bottles of wine, spirits, electronic goodies etc) - to be given back ............... a xmas pud :(

There's no way I'm doing it again!

We normally get about £40 in M&S vouchers. Don't think we are getting owt this year.

No party either. A colleague made six reservations with the last one being for tomorrow night. She's just cancelled it because the management (and I use that term very loosely) have said anything about it.

New year, new job. I've had a f**king gut-full this year. Enough is enough.

Bugger all here, infact not been back to work since the oil depot explosion blew the side and front off our building:clap:

Got my normal wages paid until Jan 5th and I suppose we won't go back this week so that's 2 weeks extra holiday courtesy of 'Total' oil depots:p

last few years we got 15 quid in JJB sports vouchers.i normally give them away.last year we got 15 quid in ASDA vouchers.not bad for a company i been at for 11 years+ gone from 1 million turnover to 20+ million turnover.

they also have a raffle of lots of freebies they get over the year like wines and spirits.this year they had a management buyout so will see that happens.

Vouchers for a bonus? That sucks, doesn't it.

When I was at B&Q my boss said "So-and-so from personell will be presenting your long service award at this month's team meeting. Do want the £50 in B&Q vouchers or M&S vouchers?"

I said "£50 for 10 years? £5 a year? Tell her to shove the vouchers up her arse"

My boss looked like I'd slapped her in the face! :p

They just posted me some vouchers in the end
