bens747
Any advice on how easy is to remove and replace the side electric windows on me Soop. I need to retint them. Thank in advance for you help guys
JamesG
Wouldn't it be easier to leave the windows in place? I'm pretty sure professional places don't remove anything. Taking off the door cards would give you a bit more space if you needed it.
bens747
Thanks mate: Well was thinking of doing it that way but thought I would get a better finish if they were out but good point. Will have a go that way and if it goes a bit Pete Tong will have to try a different approach ....
Soop Dogg
Don't try to remove the quarter lights. They're a nightmare to get out and the chances are you'll break them if you don't have the right tools and a lot of patience!

Jake
The door windows are quite easy to take out. Door card off, then take off the big black metal bracing plate, then undo the three fasteners with blue surrounds that go through the glass and lift it out. Mark the postion of the fasteners on the glass before removing them. Makes it a lot easier when reassembling - otherwise you'll have trouble getting the alignment right
supRo
Tinting front windows - Taking door card off only is sufficient to get good coverage. Rear quarter windows - They can be cut out and rebonded by someone who knows what they are doing! I'd just tint them over. Are you doing it yourself Ben?
