silvasurfa
Right. i'm planning on having some work done... These images were taken from colsoop, hope he doesn't mind but wanted the facelift lights on a car the same colour as mine:thumbs: Now, do I debadge like in both pics and do I remove the spoiler?!! In fact, do you think I should even use the facelift lights?!! (apologies for the rubbish photoshop) The first Supra that caught my eye was spoilerless and i've always liked them that way, what do you think?!! Cheers, Mike
colsoop
No i dont mind at all I took the spoiler off and to be honest it looked a bit plain on my car, my advice would be to take it off, it takes about 10 minutes and see what you think from all different angles. Next on my list is to have the rear brake light removed and the recess blended over so the back is completely smoothed off.
hadyn
Debadge and despoiler will look hard as nails if lowered
Homer
Personally, I think the facelift lights look the best on a silver car. After years of looking at de-spoilered supra's I'm still not convinced one way or the other! Every time I see a de-spoilered silver supra I always think it'd look soo much better like this:
Ray
yep true facelift lights rock! They do look lovely on a silver car.

Lazarus
I might be in a minority here, but I think that convertable looks horrible!:thumbdown
hadyn
I might be in a minority here, but I think that convertable looks horrible!:thumbdown Me too. Completely kills the essence of the car

Homer
that looks fucking fantastic:love:   Yeah, its for real. Looks great from a distance but the close up pics show it wasn't done as well as it could have been. Wouldn't like to drive it though, must be a bit floppy round the corners! Pete
Loose the toyota badge, but I do feel it's worth keeping the Supra wording. I took the spoiler off mine and wasn't too impressed. toyotasuprauk
The facelift rear lights are lovely. I don't really like the debadged look maybe the Toyota badge removed if you must but I like the Supra badge. As for not having the spoiler it can suit some cars, makes it look a bit more classy but that is really personal preference.
black cat
isnt the outrageous rear wing what the mkiv is all about???????. i agree it does look fine on different colour cars. think black looks mean so spoiler goes without saying, softer colours can take it cos the car is a stunning shape. tt steve
SkyJawa
Yeah, its for real. Looks great from a distance but the close up pics show it wasn't done as well as it could have been. Wouldn't like to drive it though, must be a bit floppy round the corners! Must say I think that looks great As for the wobblyness, if they used an Aerotop as a base it would prob be not much diff than driving that with the roof out (aerotop has extra strengthening IIRC).............. dark stranger
i keep looking at the no spoiler option but cant make up my mind......think it might lose the cars identity a bit
Burna
I de-cluttered the rear of mine and just went for a black liquid art supra badge.
colsoop
I de-cluttered the rear of mine and just went for a black liquid art supra badge. I like the look of that, once i remove the rear brake light i will add a supra badge in the middle but chrome effect.
silvasurfa
nice burna! was also thinking of this option too the way i see it, they're coming off for spraying so i can see it with none and if i change my mind i can always have them put back on? how are they stuck on? is it just with glue or are there some pesky holes? Guest Rays the roof
I considered this too along with a big fcuk off option! Results were pretty conclusive: (SEE BELOW) http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?t=43197&highlight=Spoiler Think despoilering (real word honestly), makes the car look more like a Ferrari...
