Homer
Since having a do-luck front bumper fitted I’ve never really been happy with the location of the FMIC (Greddy 3 row). Though it uses the stock Greddy mounting points it seems to be mounted far too high and is now missing most of the air flow from the bumper (see fmic.jpg) Using the standard greddy mount points the top 25% of the fmic is covered by the radiator sub assembly, with the lower 25% it just flows under the fmic and most likely under the car. Has anyone made any custom mountings for the Greddy fmic to fit lower down and hence make the most of the airflow? (see pic fmic fitting.jpg, red shows the current FMIC position, green shows the ducking area on the do-luck bumper) CJ, Robsheffield, I know you guys have a similar setup, what mods did you make? Cheers guys
supradibbs
yes had the same problem myself altough running greddy 2 row with the top secret bumper i just used spacers to drop it a little also bent the bracket down slightly which also brought the fmic forward slightly well happy with the fit now
Homer
Cheers mate. Managed to make some brackets up and its now sitting an inch lower. In fact it lines up so well to the do-luck it didn't even need any ducting made!
