SupraHuman Posted December 15, 2005 Share Posted December 15, 2005 Got a Innovate Motorsports AFR gauge almost fitted.In the manual there is 2 cables called analog OUT 1&2.These two hooks up to the ECU,but which wire/s do i tap into on the ECU?? I'm not reading anything yet m8,i got the gauge and sensor wired up to a 9V battery and hooked up to my lap-top for a free air sensor test.i did not proceed with the wireing yesterday as i was and still is unsure where to run the analog out wires.I think some of the wires runs to the OBD1 sensor and there is two different ground cables etc. Got a lot of research to do here AND i hate wireing Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
eyefi Posted December 16, 2005 Share Posted December 16, 2005 dude, i'm not familiar with the item you have but it sounds like those outputs are for dataloging. if you are connecting to a wideband sensor then no connection to the ecu is needed. what does it say in the instructions? Soonto_HAS_soop Posted December 17, 2005 Share Posted December 17, 2005 The outputs are for either datalogging or for adding a second gauge, such as a narrowband so that it runs a wideband signal, not sure why you would want to do that mind.
