RobSheffield
is it possible to strip and clean these? i have a wierd squeek/groan. sounds liek the tyre catching, but isnt. it could also be the rear wheel bearing. my plan is to strip the bearing, and investigate, but also check, and if neccesary clean the handbrake shoes. also have a knocking sound when goin backwards - makes me think handbrake shoes! supRo
If it is the handbrake shoe/springs, they'll probably be worn/damaged and need replacing. See if there are scorch marks on the inside part of the disc hub area
suprasport
yes they can mate, at least on a j spec, you will need two bolts to get hub off. (think they were 6mm) to act like pulley's
