Al that price sounds about nice.....was it R134a he put in, if so they are 150 quid trade them bottles, so the gas is kinda expensive.....anyone in london wanting thier cars gasssed up give me a shout....well its actually me dad whos the pro....

cant make billing Gavin....Leon may be taking the car in around that date...or 3rd August.

 

At the next meet Ill try and bring a bottle....10'a a fill....

 

Gavin, by the way how was the dyno run??? Result pls....pm me if your embarassed!;) :innocent: :D

Well you really need a machine, to tell how much you're putting in and an in-line oiler, if you dont add the oil say bye bye to the compressor seals and then eventually the compressor itself!!

 

and it would be prudent to use a leak detector to make sure what you just put in dont end up coming out!

On some systems you need a machine, weighing gas scale.

But on some cars like the mercedes s class, they have a sight glass present, which shows the gas flowing through the liquid line.

When the sight glass is full the car has been topped up, thier should also be a green ring around the glass(a litmus type paper) which can sense if the system has any moisture present.

If the ring is green, no worries, but if yellow than proceed get help.

The gas weighing machine is a size of a normal tool box...

Shame we cannot make billing, as we'd have bought a bottle or 2....
