Paul Laing
is it easy to re-gass the A/C? could it be done at Billing or is there a machine that does it? Might seem a stupid question!! Paul
400BHP
Well you really need a machine, to tell how much you're putting in and an in-line oiler, if you dont add the oil say bye bye to the compressor seals and then eventually the compressor itself!! and it would be prudent to use a leak detector to make sure what you just put in dont end up coming out! Paul Laing
any places in NorthEast do this????
Guest Usmann A
On some systems you need a machine, weighing gas scale. But on some cars like the mercedes s class, they have a sight glass present, which shows the gas flowing through the liquid line. When the sight glass is full the car has been topped up, thier should also be a green ring around the glass(a litmus type paper) which can sense if the system has any moisture present. If the ring is green, no worries, but if yellow than proceed get help. The gas weighing machine is a size of a normal tool box... Shame we cannot make billing, as we'd have bought a bottle or 2....
